Only meaningful with nothing running — no irrigation, no taps. After closing a valve, give it a few minutes before trusting the number.

Short intervals mean the system is not holding pressure. That is usually water going somewhere — a leak, a running toilet, an open bib — but a waterlogged pressure tank can short-cycle the pump without losing any water. This page measures the symptom, not the cause.
